Returns & Exchanges
- What is your return policy?
- We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in new condition with tags and stickers still attached. Use the return label within 14 days of receiving it. All sale purchases and giveaway winnings are final. If an item doesn’t meet our terms, the refund may be denied and the item disposed of. Last chance items, customized products, and PR boxes are final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
- Can I exchange for a different size or color?
- We do not offer exchanges at this time. To get a different item, please initiate a free domestic return through our Return Portal and place a new order for the item you’d like.
- What about plastic, glass, and stainless steel bottles?
- We do not cover broken or dropped bottles or lids due to user error. Normal wear on glass and stainless steel (scratches, dents, etc.) is not covered. Use Stainless Steel Sleeves for stainless bottles — other sleeves were not designed for SS and may not fit properly.
- What does your warranty cover?
- We offer a limited lifetime warranty on all manufacturer defects. This does not cover normal wear and tear, accidents, drops, odor issues, negligence, or third-party modifications (such as laser etching). To process any warranty claim, we’ll need proof of purchase, clear photos of the defect, and a brief description of the issue. Submit claims via the Contact Us form or email service@thehydrojug.com.
- How long does my refund take?
- Refunds are processed within 5 business days after your return arrives at our warehouse and passes inspection. Approved warranty replacements ship within 5–10 business days. If your issue qualifies as a manufacturer defect, HydroJug covers all shipping costs.
- How do I return an international order?
- Items must be new with tags attached and sent within 30 days of delivery. Return to: HYDROJUG, 1017 W 600 N Ste 1, Ogden, UT 84404. Need help? Email service@thehydrojug.com with your order number and purchase email.

- How long does shipping take?
- Standard domestic orders are packed and fulfilled within 2–3 business days. During sales and releases, allow 5–10 business days for processing. Custom etch items may require additional time. Tracking is sent once the order ships.
- Can I change or cancel my order?
- We’ll do our best if your order hasn’t been processed yet. Email service@thehydrojug.com with your order number and shipping address. Cancellation is not guaranteed if your order has already been processed.
- What if my package is lost or stolen?
- HydroJug is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages after delivery. Customers must file the claim with the carrier (claims may take up to 3 weeks). Allow up to 7 business days after a “delivered” scan before assuming non-delivery. If the carrier never received the package due to our error, we will reship at no cost.
- Do you offer free shipping?
- Free standard shipping is available on all domestic orders over $54.99 (subtotal after discounts and before tax). Orders under $54.99 will have a flat-rate shipping fee calculated at checkout.
- My order arrived damaged — what do I do?
- Report damage within 7 days of delivery to service@thehydrojug.com. All stickers and tags must still be attached. Please include photo proof of the damage. We are not responsible for addresses entered incorrectly at checkout.
- Can I pick up my order?
- Yes — just select pickup at checkout as the shipping method. Orders will be ready within 2 business days and held for up to one week. Our hours are Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM (excluding holidays) at HydroJug, 1017 W 600 N Ste 1, Ogden, UT 84404. Bring your order number and enter through the North doors.
Product Care
- How do I clean my HydroJug?
- We recommend hand washing with warm soapy water after each use. For a deeper clean, use a bottle brush and a mixture of baking soda and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry with the lid off. For straws, soak in dish soap or use a straw-cleaning brush for best results.
- Is my HydroJug dishwasher safe?
- Most cups are dishwasher safe. However, to maintain appearance and finish over time, hand washing is recommended. Cups with glitter or 5D finishes should always be hand-washed to keep them looking their best. Do not freeze or microwave any HydroJug products.
- How do I remove odors or stains?
- Fill your bottle with a mixture of 1 tablespoon of baking soda and warm water, let it soak overnight, then rinse thoroughly. For stubborn stains, a mixture of white vinegar and baking soda works well. Avoid bleach or abrasive cleaners.
- How long does the insulation last?
- Our triple-wall insulated Travelers and Sport bottles keep drinks ice-cold for up to 24 hours. The Coffee Traveler keeps drinks hot for up to 6 hours and cold for up to 12 hours. The Pro Jug v2 with a Neoprene Sleeve keeps drinks cold for 2–4 hours.
- Are replacement lids and parts available?
- Yes! We sell replacement lids, straws, and other accessories on our website. Check the Accessories collection to find compatible parts for your specific bottle model. The Removable Straw Lid features transparent, antibacterial Tritan with a leakproof design and secure locking mechanism.
- Can I freeze my HydroJug?
- We don’t recommend freezing your HydroJug. Most plastics become brittle at very low temperatures. Thanks to the wide-mouth opening, it’s easy to add ice instead for ice-cold hydration all day.
- What type of plastic is used?
- Our products use #2 HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) and #5 PP (Polypropylene) plastics — both BPA-free and high-grade, commonly found in food containers. Many competitors use PETG plastic, which is less durable and not dishwasher safe. The HydroStraw is also BPA-free Polypropylene.
